Mountain Shadows Resort Area
Paradise Valley AZ is home to many resorts. 12 in all, depending on how one counts. One that is “hibernating” is in the heart of the Town. Mountain Shadows Resort. While the golf course is open to the public (a less well known fact), the resort itself has been sitting empty for years now. Finally that may be coming to an end. Apparently a local Metro Phoenix Developer is in the last stages of putting together a package to take possession of the foreclosed property and develop new homes in the 1500-2500 sq ft range. More similar to Colonia Miramonte than Montelucia Resort as I understand it.
Apparently this will happen in the next few months and the chain links one sees as they drive down Lincoln will hopefully be an eyesore from the past in the not too distant future.
